however usually by Memorial Day Weekend it is open again connecting Estes Park with Grand Lake

Within five minute this wave crashed into the seawall send up a large wave with great force

Sunset from the Colorado State Capitol Size:24"x36" In the past five yearsAs I was walking past the State Capitol I decided to stop and capture an image of the sunset. I have used this perspective in the past couple of years to capture the change of seasons as well as the morning light against the Rocky Mountains. With the sun setting to the southeast this time of year it allowed a little of a gradient of the darkening evening skies framed by the architecture of the building itself.
