Petrified Wood Necklace Badger Pocket Sycamore in Solid Silver Michigan_state_stone The space between the edgesI made this stunning petrified wood necklace from what's referred to as badger pocket petrified sycamore. It's a very rare type of petrified wood found in Washington with a pattern like no other that looks almost feather like in places. I cut the stone in a domed teardrop and set it in solid sterling silver. I used a decorative gallery style bezel to hold the stone. I made the back of this pendant using recycled silver that I melted down rolled into
