The bouquet is unusually extrovert for this stage here. Fresher and longer but less rich than 2019, still very youthful, almost yeasty. Good tension, very appealing all round, with classical Jacques Carillon structure. More class than 2018 too, I think. Ripe citrus notes to finish. Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy (Jan 2022)
