Aircraft Departing over the Plains Presentation:Matted Earlier in the spring I

Earlier in the spring I was scouting the area around the airport and noticed an aircraft on final approach to Denver International Airport

The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean

Just after arriving to Mendenhall Glacier  you could start to see them form in the sky however using a longer exposure they definitely do show up better with the camera

With the fresh snow on the grass and the fall color in the leaves I found myself on the capitol steps to capture this image west through Civic Center Park towards the City and County of Denver building

Looking down the road I had noticed the contrast of the two fields ahead and now the plane overflying one of those fields which got me thinking. I headed back to this location to capture some departures on this day as the aircraft quickly climbed over the Colorado plains.
