It is 3 16" thick and bent from a single piece of 5052 aluminum. It is well suited for both lowered street cars as well as off road rally cars. It provides protection to the headers and oil pan from the front of the U frame back to the transmission brace. The bottom of the plate features a brushed finish. A complete hardware set is included
