Due to it's unique make up this is a piece you don't want to overheat such as leaving it in a car on a hot day

It has beautiful colors with bright red and pink-tuscadero layers around the oval features

Lake Superior Agate Earrings in Sterling Silver free form colorful cabochon The bezel for this setThis is a beautiful set of Lake Superior agate stud earrings in solid silver settings. I made both the oval shaped agate stones and the solid sterling silver settings that hold them. I cut the stones from a light orange and white Lake Superior agate that was found in MN. They are nicely transparent giving them a gemmy look when light goes through them to the polished back of the setting. I used my own hand forged and formed sterling silver sheet metal
