If you have been to Juneau at all you know that it rains in this area of Alaska

Using the low light to my advantage I was able to use a slower shutter speed on my camera and capture the motion from the water in the image

As I walked through a small town I noticed this light on the bench sitting along the wall

I watched this sequence happen a couple of times and towards the end of the second sequence zoomed into the fin to catch the water which was dripping down and off the fin

This was one of those days when a light dusting of snow fell in Denver overnight greeted with clear skies in the morning. Getting close to the ground I focused on the grass an using a shallow depth of field put the trees in the background out of focus. This allows the viewer to have a sense of place but puts the attention on the snow in the fresh spring growth.
