Finding a nice angle I captured the peaks of the canopy as it rose into the threatening clouds of the day

The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean

the current location was not built until 1924 as noted at the top of the facade

With many of the trees filled with fall colors I also found some had just a few reminders of the season as the majority of their leaves had fallen

Denver Evening from City Park Presentation:Photobox Finding a nice angle IUpon landing back in Denver it appeared the clouds were lining up for a dramatic sunset in the mile high city. As I was driving home I was thinking about a couple of locations to take advantage of this light and came up with City Park due to time concerns. About a half hour prior to sunset everything was still looking great in the sky and as I quickly stopped home they mentioned it on the early news that it could be a colorful sunset once again.
