These beautiful fordite earrings are made with corvetteite fordite from the Bowling Green KY plant where the vette line of sports cars were painted in the early 2000's

I made the dove cut outs from recycled silver that I hand forged and formed into silver sheet

The holder itself is black

It's in a domed oval with a nice fortification pattern in the paint

It hails from Oregon. It's a stone that doesn't show up for sale in large amounts so I'm happy we were able to get some to cut. This pendant is in a domed teardrop. This stone achieves a nice satin polish. It's set in solid fine and sterling silver. The included 20 inch chain is also solid sterling silver. The pendant is just under an inch tall.
