From my position in City Park I was able to position the setting sun at the Wells Fargo Building (Cash Register) and the mountains

The cathedral itself has been in existence since prior to the purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867

This allowed for some nice sunrises along the way

Using a telephoto lens I was able to zoom in close to the beach and waited from the next wave too come onshore giving three distinct variations of color

Snow and Ice Size:16"x20" From my position in CityStanding on Mendenhall Lake recently I looked down at the fresh snow on the lake which was frozen in my area. I have noticed over the past winters when in Juneau the different shape the snow takes which you can see on the ice itself in this image. As the coverage of snow varied I used this to build negative and positive space in the image created.
