This wine is a 50 50 blend of Merlot and Sangiovese, with vines planted on the southern slopes at altitudes of up to 420 metres and complex soils. The wine spends 2 years ageing in French barriques, 80% of which are new. This wine is ripe and concentrated and displays rich bramble fruits and plenty of savoury and sweet spice.
