60年後期から70年初頭にかけて、ボリスは2つのカラースライドを重ねあわせ、魅惑的な”サンドイッチ"を考案した。それは言い換えれば、グラマラスな女性のヌードのタブローにシュールな都会のランドスケープやソビエトの日常の奇妙なシーンが美しく構成されたものであった。本書は同シリーズより、2006年にPHAIDONより出版された写真集 "Yesterday’s Sandwich”に未掲載の多数の作品の中から新たにBoris自身によってセレクトされた90点のイメージを使用して制作された写真集である。

It is possible to say, that this book is a continuation or addition to the book with the same name and published by PHAIDON in 2007 (and reprinted by it in 2009). It so happened, that I was lucky: I was able to discover the method, with which I was able to obtain images that formed the basis of these two books. This happened in the midle of 60s,
