This listing is for an attractive Kyo ware chawan made around 20 years ago by noted potter, Nakamura Yohei. It is wheel thrown and decorated with an Ogata Kenzan style depiction of fiery red autumn ivy trimmed with moss green and gold overglaze. Nakamura has spent his career mastering the Ninsei technique and producing splendid utsushi
