Rails Size:XL The factory opened in NovemberSteel narrow gauge rails thread into dense vegetation, the track bed lost beneath years of growth. Once the primary transport system for moving armaments between the wharf, magazines, and storage buildings across Newington Armament Depot and Nature Reserve, these 610 mm gauge lines now sit largely reclaimed by bush. The depot operated under Royal Australian Navy control from 1921 until 1999. Part of the Newington Armory series.
