Orkney 11 Year / 2011 / 70cl 50% / Thompson Brothers Rum Teaninich ABV:You might just know which unnamed distillery on Orkney provided Thompson Bros. with this delicious whisky, and if so you're probably also aware that it tends to be a very consistent producer of tasty whisky. the nose is maritime, chalk, limestone, kelp, dehydrated citrus, charred driftwood, dried grass and peat smoke. Medium bodied, gentle, citrus, salty and peaty with some sweeter notes, medicinal herbs and a touch of tobacco. Oily texture but with a
