Philomela The Poison Garden is aArt print of my illustration based on the myth of Philomela. Philomela, a princess of Athens, was sexually assaulted by her brother in law, Tereus, who cut out her tongue to silence her. The gods transformed her into a nightingale so she could always tell her story.
