Kurun Warun "Dry Waterholes" Tapestry Winterthur CollectionKURUN WARUN was born in Australia in 1966. He is a member of the indigenous Guntijamara people and is a descendant the Truganini family line. Kurun Warun whose name means 'Hissing Swan' lives in the Noosa hinterland in South East Queensland. He is very well known for his exceptional art and his huge talent as a didgeridoo musician. He expresses his culture through art and music and has won international acclaim and recognition in both these fields.
