In 2016, it was merged into a new commune, Tuff Val de la Chron. Vatan's choice in name speaks subtly and defiantly to an old lineage, now a part of something greater, but no less distinct for it. The 2021 vintage is made from a variety of parcels spread across Vatan's limestone rich vineyards. Aged fully in stainless steel, it
