The locket is of truncated rectangle design with brightwork to both covers, being of very good quality throughout. The locket is inscribed with the initials SAD to the front cover, with a heartfelt message to the verso which reads: Presented TO S. A. DAVIS By his Fellow Employees As A MARK OF ESTEEM
