The color is a true black - note that in very bright sun the fabric is starting to take a purpleish cast near the arms and other areas where skin would have touched it

1970s Velvet Wrap Emilio Pucci Skirt designer-missoni I love how thoroughly modernGorgeous cotton velvet skirt by the great Emilio Pucci! A deep deep charcoal tinted navy has a design of flowers and leaves all through it stylized lilies they seem to be. The edges are all printed with a contrasting deign as is the trademark of Pucci. This piece is more subtle than the big vibrant pieces one often sees from Pucci but that makes it slightly more interesting in my opinion! I love how all the printed parts of the design are a muted grey
