Made of a ivory wool it is a study in shape and restraint

there is a melancholic undertone: faded flowers are trapped in chiffon and lace

All of the bead work is done by hand and because the colors of the beads are meant to match it just adds a depth and level of texture rather then being flashy

Regardless of the date it is a fabulous example of her work with its nod to deconstruction and her punk roots. The pieces are knit and a loose open weave so are semi transparent, making them shocking if worn over
